The center of our temple is our sanctuary. We’re proud of all the thoughtful and meaningful aspects of this special place, from the hand-carved doors of the ark depicting heaven and earth reaching for each other, to the Yahrzeit and Holocaust memorials, to the wheelchair access ramp.
Inclusivity at Temple Beth Hillel stretches beyond our bimah’s wheelchair ramp. Our sanctuary was one of the first to be equipped with live streaming capabilities – a way to include those who have difficulty attending services in person for any reason. Our sanctuary also features “Noah’s Ark”, a small room with quiet toys and books where our youngest congregants (and their parents) can stay occupied while still following along with a service.
